Lucerne, Switzerland such a MAGNIFICENT place

Lucerne, Switzerland was one of my favourite places we visited, much like Germany it is very impressive for it's neatness, cleanliness and just so peaceful. The river flowing through the town centre was something, it was extremely clear but looked quiet fresh. On one of the days there in our "free time" we saw a heap of guys jumping off one of the bridges and going down the river with the current, they would get themselves to the edge where there were some stairs to exit the river, as they were running up I had this inkling that they were Aussie, so I asked them what the water was like in which they replied "bloody awesome", yep they certainly were Aussie, they also were on a Contiki. People were lined up around the river just watching them jump, it was like they had never seen it before, but I guess with the place being so peaceful and not many people causing a ruckus it was something different.
